Ceramic intalox saddle is a kind of ceramic packing which adopts
continuous extrusion technology for processing. Compared with
rasching ring of the same material, it has such advantages, large
flux, low pressure drop, high efficiency, etc.. It has less
resistance, larger flux, higher efficiency and better strengh and
rigidity than pall ring. At present, this packing is a random
packing used most widely. Bed of this packing has large voidage, in which there are many
arc-shaped liquid channel that not only reduce the resistance when
gas goes through the bed, but also decrease radial diffusion
coefficient when the liquid downward flow. The shape of intalox
saddle is between circle and saddle, so it has the advantages of
both the two packing. This structure is good for distributing
liquid and has increased the gas channel. Because of its high
density and acid and heat resistance properties, and it can resist
various inorganic acids, organic acids and organic solvents
corrosion except hydrofluoric acid, it is used in drying tower,
absorption tower, cooling towers, scrubbing towers, regenerator,
